YARD PERSON

Programmed are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardperson to join a busy equipment hire operation in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, values teamwork, and can maintain high standards in a dynamic yard environment.

What's on Offer:

• Full-time hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Stable, ongoing employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining hire equipment
• Cleaning and servicing portable toilets and site amenities
• Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment
• Supporting office and operations staff as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
• Conducting equipment checks and reporting defects
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, transport, construction, or similar environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
